Must the sword devour forever?
Must we seek peace
Only by drawing blood?
Must the enemy roam around
Unrebuked and cause discord
And disharmony
When the sweet melodies of
God’s children sing the
Praises of Jesus?
It is time we woke up
And answered this timeless
Question from Abner.
It is time we realized
That no one wins a war,
Any battle, that rages
For man’s desires
And ignores the peace of God
That is possible through prayer alone!
Yes, there is no trivial fight
In the kingdom of God-
For the smallest of battles
In our eyes that seem insignificant
Have a spiritual side that
We are not aware of:
In every trivial fight we face
Strongholds that catch us unaware
Unless we carry it to Jesus
And not to the sword of man.
Let His Love
And His Grace carry us through
As we pray for His help
In every battle.
For He knows that the
Battles we face are not easy.
They may seem impossible,
But He knows that

In the kingdom of God
So let Him into
