A proof of concept that people from various walks of life can come together to build friendships. The ideas behind Cultural Fusion events focused on bringing people together through food, games, music, dancing, sports and conversations/ storytelling through film or singing. Cultural Fusion events were a way to build more bridges rather than walls between communities and sub-communities- a way to celebrate diversity while being united as a group of humans. Anyone interested in bringing such events to their college campus, please feel free to reach out to me through mrinalini@thehonestrational.com.

Cultural fusion was made possible by at least 20 other people who worked as a team, and we focused on:
•Creating and organizing and event and a safe atmosphere for the exchange of ideas and perspectives unique to the university and its individuals
•Obtaining and validating funds through grant proposals and applications
•Leading CFFD planning committee on task, volunteer and resource management
•Advising student leaders in sub-committees (Games, Food, Marketing, Sign-in, Feedback, Performances, Global Photo Corner, Table Fair, Awards, e.t.c)
•Creating framework for continued interest and leadership in event and organization
