A couple of things resonate; one, the willingness to accept being pruned, knowing that what earthly event may have changed us, our Lord is behind it to strengthen his children and draw them closer to Him.
Second, dealing with the worries and pitfalls that may come with pruning or other events, your words reminded me of a Christian song I found recently that I hope puts a exclamation point on what you have composed.
